Tuition and Cost
Basic Tuition and Fees are determined by a student’s academic plan and status. The California State University (CSU) works hard to minimize student expenses. When public financing is insufficient, it’s necessary to raise the fees that are stated in published schedules or on student accounts.

SDSU Tuition Financial Aid
They will distribute any residual financial aid awards via direct deposit at SDSU once current institutional fees have been deducted. However, students have the option to ask for direct distribution of Cal Grant A and B money.

SDSU Tuition Loan
A loan is an amount of money that you agree to borrow and pay back later, almost often with interest.

They must notify the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships of any outside scholarships (OFAS).
Federal law requires that the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships consider all resources when determining eligibility and awarding financial aid as part of San Diego State University’s role in providing federal and state financial aid. Therefore, we will adjust the student’s financial aid as required.
The most prestigious scholarship offered by SDSU, the Merit Scholarship, is given to a small group of the best academic candidates who have graduated from a high school in the admissions region of SDSU and have attained a minimum GPA of 4.00.
