Admission Criteria at SDSU

A–G Requirements

Preparation Towards Indicated Area of Study (Major)
They must select a major while applying to SDSU. Therefore, every major is competitive, and there are more candidates than spaces available in every major (impaction).

How to Apply
Apply through Cal State Apply, the CSU’s standard application for admission.
1. A $70 nonrefundable filing fee must accompany your application.
2. Do you require help with the Cal State Apply form? Examine the 2023–23 Cal State Apply Application Guide.
We do not need your transcripts until after you are admitted because initial admission choices are based only on the information you provided on your application.
Therefore, your application must have all the information, including your high school GPA, course titles, and grades.
Transcripts will verify your self-reported information, and any errors could endanger your acceptance.
