Westpoint Admissions Acceptance Rate
Admission to the United States Military Academy at West Point is more selective, with an 11% acceptance rate. Half of those admitted to West Point have a SAT score of 1200 to 1440 or an ACT score of 28 to 33.

The New SAT 25th percentile score is 1170, and the New SAT 75th percentile score is 1360. A New SAT score of 1170 places you below average, while a score of 1360 places you above average.
ACT Requirements for Westpoint Admissions
West Point’s average ACT score is 28. With this score, they considered West Point Moderately Competitive for ACT scores. The ACT score for the 25th percentile is 25, and the ACT score for the 75th percentile is 30.
Even if West Point says there is no minimum ACT requirement, if you apply with a 25 or lower, you will have a very difficult time getting in unless you have something else very impressive in your application.
Because there are so many applicants scoring 28 and above, a 25 will appear academically weak.
