Many undergraduate students receive financial aid that includes a labor component during the academic year known as Federal Work-Study or Campus Employment.

Earnings of about $2,950 are expected for Work-Study or Campus Employment, which equates to 10–12 hours per week throughout the academic year.

As part of their financial aid package, qualifying students at Brown University get a labor component. It is unnecessary for students to work or to get their entire work reward.
