Official tuition and fee rates are set by the Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents and approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

Cost of attendance (COA) is the total, average amount of money it will reasonably cost a student to attend OSU during one school year (fall and spring semesters).

They group students in COA categories based on residency status (in-state or out-of-state tuition); type of academic program (undergraduate, graduate or veterinary medicine); housing status (on/off campus or with parents); and number of hours enrolled

They charge courses beginning with 0 through 4 at undergraduate rates and courses beginning with 5 or above are charged at the graduate rate.

OSU Tuition Loan

Loans are awarded after your eligibility for grants, scholarships, and Federal Work-Study (FWS) is considered. Your financial aid package might include loans as need based and/or non-need based financial aid.

The Subsidized Loan provides you a way for to borrow money from the government to help fund your college education. They can use this loan for educationally related costs, such as, tuition, fees, housing/meals and books.

The government pays the interest the loan accumulates while they enrolled you in school.

The Unsubsidized Loan provides you a way for to borrow money from the government to help finance a college education. They can use this loan for educationally related costs, such as, tuition, fees, housing/meals and books.

As the borrower, you handle the interest the loan accumulates while in school, but payment can be deferred.

OSU Tuition Grant

A grant is a type of gift aid that does not require you to pay back. Need-based grants are given based on the information you provide on the FAFSA. Filing the FAFSA is the only requirement needed to be considered for the specific grant programs.

They award Pell Grant to students with exceptional financial need and we must enrol them in at least 1 hour each semester; amount varies based on enrollment level.

They must be in a degree seeking program, enrolled courses must count toward your degree and students can receive the award for a maximum of 12 full-time semesters.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is a federal grant awarded to students with exceptional financial need, limited funds, Pell Grant recipients receive priority and must be enrolled in at least 1  hour each semester.

They must also be in a degree seeking program and enrolled courses must count toward your degree.

OSU Tuition Work Study

Federal Work-Study jobs represent a small minority of all the student jobs on campus. If you don’t receive a work-study award, there are many other employment opportunities on campus and in the city of Stillwater.

Federal Work-Study (FWS) provides part-time jobs for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help them fund their college education.

The program also encourages community service work and work related to your course of study and the award is determined based on financial need from the FAFSA. The maximum FWS award varies each academic year.

Because of limited funding, not all students are qualified for this aid. Therefore, file the FAFSA as soon as possible beginning October 1 for the following academic year to be considered for this aid, must be in a degree seeking program and enrolled courses must count toward your degree.

OSU Tuition Scholarship

When you apply for admission to OSU, they automatically considered you for scholarships.

Scholarship selection requirements may vary, but can include academic performance, test scores, class rank, and your essay responses on the application for admission. Academic criteria are based on the cumulative unweighted GPA (4.0 scale).

The Early Opportunity Scholarship Deadline is Nov. 1, while they must submit all scholarship materials latest by Feb. 1 to ensure scholarship consideration for fall-entering students. Also make sure you’ve also submitted the FAFSA with OSU’s school code of 003170.
