For undergraduate and graduate students who can prove they are in need of financial assistance, the Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) offers jobs.
FWS offers the student the ability to labor on campus or perform community service while earning money to assist with funding their education or other costs.
Throughout the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms of an academic year, FWS students are qualified to receive an award.
All unused funds will become invalid at the end of the designated term. The FWS student loses all employment rights once they receive their award unless they are selected to work as Student Assistants and are compensated from the hiring department’s budget.
