Full-time undergraduates at Liberty University pay $23,800 a year in tuition, while part-time undergraduates pay $815 a credit hour. Graduate students pay $8,360 on average in tuition and fees per year, however certain programs have additional expenses.

At Liberty University, a master’s degree typically costs $545 per credit hour. Each credit hour for an MA in Pastoral Counseling costs $410. While the Doctor of Nursing Practice and other PhD programs cost $635 per credit hour, the Master of Biomedical Science program costs $650 per hour.

The prices mentioned in the previous sentences only apply to residential students. The university’s division committed to online education, Liberty Online, has a variety of pricing.

Liberty University Tuition Grant

Grants are an unrepayable source of financial assistance. Financial need is a major factor in many awards, although others also assess academic achievement, academic degree program, and/or residency status.

The “Year-Round Pell,” which is an additional 50% of Pell Grant money, may be available to students who have used up all of their Pell Grant monies for the current year.

For Year-Round Pell, students must enroll at least half-time for the duration of the qualifying term and satisfy all other eligibility conditions in the semester of the additional award.

Summer Pell Grants, which differ from Year-Round Pell, may be available to students who did not spend their whole Pell Grant during the Fall and Spring periods.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) recipients may receive up to $1,000 per year in-person and up to $800 online.

Liberty University Tuition Loan

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) offers federal student loans called Direct Subsidized Loans and Direct Unsubsidized Loans to assist eligible students in paying for higher education at a four-year institution, a community college, or a trade, vocational, or technical school.

Through institutions that take part in the Direct Loan Program, the U.S. Department of Education offers Direct PLUS Loans to qualified parents and graduate or professional students.

Note: When given to a parent, a Direct PLUS Loan is commonly known as a parent PLUS loan, and when given to a graduate or professional student, it is known as a grad PLUS loan.

Liberty University Tuition Scholarship 

The Liberty’s Middle America Scholarship provides working families and their kids with financial support that would not otherwise be possible. This initiative may offer over $5,000 in need-based help to households with annual incomes ranging from $35,000 to $95,000.

Students will receive the Middle America Scholarship to bring them up to the equivalent of the full Federal Pell Grant amount each year when combined with the Liberty Champion scholarship if their expected family contribution (EFC) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is between $18,000 and $18,000.

There is no set minimum GPA requirement for Liberty University’s undergraduate residential students, so this requirement is flexible.

Does FAFSA Cover Liberty University?
