For those without a bachelor’s degree, the Pell Grant is available and distributed based on need. A valid Federal Pell Grant will be credited to your CIA student account in two equal payments.
Furthermore, if you haven’t yet received a bachelor’s degree, you may be eligible for federal supplemental educational opportunity grants, which are distributed based on need and credited to your CIA student account in two equal payments.
Loan
Federal Direct Loans; The U.S. Department of Education provides these parents and students with low-interest loans. Direct loans come with or without subsidies:
Subsidized loans are provided in accordance with financial needs. The federal government will pay the interest on the loan until you begin making payments if you are eligible.
The loan proceeds will be transferred to your student account with CIA in two equal payments.
Unsubsidized loans do not require evidence of financial need. If you are eligible, interest will be charged from the time the loan is disbursed until it has been fully returned. You have the option of paying the interest or allowing it to accumulate.
If you let the interest accumulate, it will be capitalized, which will increase the amount of the loan that you must repay by adding the interest to the principal. If you pay the interest as it accumulates, your total repayment amount over time will be less.
