Quinnipiac Tuition Financial Aid
Quinnipiac uses the following formula to determine whether you require financial assistance:
Need = Cost of Attendance (COA) – Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
Due to Quinnipiac’s “need-blind” admissions practices, applicants are accepted regardless of financial need.
Quinnipiac, like the majority of schools and institutions, lacks the resources necessary to completely meet every student’s requirements.
Students and families who do not have enough money to cover their EFC or who have unmet needs can borrow more money from the university or sign up for a payment plan to cover their remaining debt.

Quinnipiac Tuition Scholarship
Academic scholarships are given to prospective students by the Office of Admissions during the application process for admission, provided specific criteria are met.
With no additional paperwork needed, the university immediately evaluates scholarships for incoming students.
A scholarship does not need to be repaid because it lowers the student’s out-of-pocket expenses for attending the university.Â
Scholarship information is included in the acceptance letter that students receive. As long as you continue to meet the eligibility standards listed in your admission letter and enroll in classes full-time, the scholarship’s amount won’t change from year to year.
Academic Scholarships for First-Year Students awards range from $12,000 to $28,000.
Academic awards are evaluated by the admissions office based on a student’s overall academic performance and are renewed annually at the same amount, provided the student remains enrolled as a full-time undergraduate and meets the renewal requirements as specified in the acceptance letter.
Quinnipiac Tuition Grants
Grants are based on need and are referred to as “gift aid.” There is no need for repayment.
Awards for federal Pell Grants through the U.S. Department of Education, up to $6,195 annually. With an appropriate EFC and active enrollment status, students without a bachelor’s degree may be eligible for the financing.
The average Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) award from the U.S. Department of Education ranges from $500 to $2,000. Funding for SEOG is taken into consideration for Pell-eligible students.
Quinnipiac University grants; the value of each grant varies. Grant assistance is taken into consideration for full-time students who file the FAFSA and demonstrate financial need.
Grants and Scholarships for Roberta B. Willis By the State of Connecticut, up to $5,250.
This need-based scholarship is given to Connecticut residents who complete the FAFSA and satisfy an annual criterion for anticipated family contributions (EFC).
Quinnipiac Tuition Loan
Federal Direct Student Loans do not require a co-signer, have a fixed interest rate, and have a minimal origination cost. Payments are postponed for the six months following graduation as well as while you are still enrolled in school.

At Quinnipiac, almost 65% of students have one or more federal student loans. The Cohort Default Rate (CDR) is a metric used by the U.S. Department of Education to assess federal student loan payments at post-secondary schools.
The CDR shows the proportion of borrowers who started repayment at a certain moment and then defaulted (failed to make payments) within three years.
For the 2018 fiscal year, Quinnipiac University‘s official CDR for students beginning repayment of their federal student loans is 2.3%. For the same time frame, the national average is 7.3%.
Quinnipiac Tuition Work Study
Many students use work-study programs, paid internships, or part-time employment to contribute to the cost of their college education. As compensation for serving in leadership positions in school, sophomores, juniors, and seniors can receive stipends.
