Attorneys and self-represented (pro se) litigants may electronically file court documents (also known as “E-Filing”) at any time, seven days a week. Attorneys must file electronically.
A document that has been electronically filed should not be filed on paper. Until further notice, limited papers as indicated in Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure Rule 3.030 should only be filed on paper.
How to Use
General Instructions via court order is available. Use of the application will require minimal changes in the way attorneys and parties conduct business with the court. These changes include:
▸ Attorneys must submit briefs and petitions through the eFiling website rather than through mail or e-mail.
▸ Attorneys must submit briefs and petitions in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), in Microsoft Word 97 or higher format, or in WordPerfect format.
▸ Attorneys must submit, in addition to their briefs and petitions, any appendices.
