GPA Requirements for Wayne State Admissions

Wayne State University welcomes students with GPAs below 3.36. It’s fine to be a B-average student with a few A’s thrown in.

Avoid C’s and D’s since application readers may wonder if you can withstand the stress of college academics. If you are a junior or senior, it is difficult to change your GPA in time for college applications.

If your GPA is at or below the school average of 3.36, you’ll need to improve your SAT or ACT score. This will allow you to compete effectively against applicants with greater GPAs than you.
