Tuition and Fees

The Board of Trustees and the Board of Regents for Higher Education reserve the right, to allow changes in fees and to establish new fees that will apply to all currently enrolled students. The fee schedule posted on the website of the Office of the Bursar is comprehensive and is expected to be in effect during any given academic year.

Fee invoices for the semester’s expenses should be received to the office of the bursar no later than the Friday before classes begin. It should make them payable to the University of Connecticut.

For precise dates, please refer to the academic calendar. The rights granted to a student, including but not limited to the use of recreational facilities, access to transcripts, the opportunity to register for subsequent semesters, and other services, will be revoked if they do not make a payment on time.

After the payment deadline, students who sign up for additional courses have ten days to pay before they declared their payments past due. (Note that the University does not impose restrictions on access to housing or food services.) Only emails are used to charge all students. The student is still responsible for making their payments by the due date even if they do not receive an email notification of their bill.
