Hofstra Tuition Scholarship

Hofstra and other organizations typically give out scholarships based on an applicant’s academic performance or other qualifications.

When you submit an application, your academic record will be evaluated for scholarships.

As you progress through the University’s curriculum, scholarships based on academic achievement may become available. Students can also speak with the dean’s office or the chairperson of their major department about available scholarships.

The letter announcing each award includes the terms and conditions for its renewal.

If you earn a scholarship from a third-party organization, such as a non-profit, business, or other entity, provide a copy of the award notification you obtained to Student Financial Services.

The award must be a part of your financial aid package. Even if it could need some investigation, there are tools at your disposal to help you in your search for outside scholarships.

On some of the scholarships and grants you received, taxes may be due. Find out more information on whether payments made to students are taxable.
