Financial Aid
Students seeking institutional, state, and federal financial aid can get help from the Office of Financial Aid. More than 350 million dollars in financial help are given to students annually.
Scholarships, grants, work-study opportunities, and loans are all forms of assistance given to students.
Need-blind admission is available from FSU. The 2023-2023 Free Application for Student Help must be filled out in order to be considered for financial aid (FAFSA).
On October 21, 2023, the form became available. It must be finished before December 1 in order to receive priority consideration. The 2023-2023 AND the 2023-2023 FAFSAs should be submitted by students accepted for the summer session.
The Financial Aid and Student Business Services websites both have tools to assist students in navigating the financial aid procedure.
You will receive a document known as a Student Aid Report (SAR) once the government has processed your FAFSA. It’s crucial that you verify the accuracy of your SAR. To ascertain whether you qualify for need-based aid, this information will be used.

Florida State University Undergraduate Tuition and Fees Scholarship
Scholarships provided by the Office of Admissions are normally given out when you are accepted as a first-year student.
Every accepted applicant is immediately given consideration for a scholarship. Depending on the academic profile of the entering class and the available finances, the scholarship requirements may change from year to year.
Scholarships are highly competitive and given based on academic merit (a combination of academic weighted grade point average AND test scores).
Scholarship recipients often have no grades lower than a B. Students are encouraged to submit their admission applications before December 1 because scholarship funds are limited.
Students typically get just one merit scholarship from the Office of Admissions, but by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, they may be qualified for extra financial aid (FAFSA).
How do I Accept my Scholarship Offer?
In order to receive their scholarship award, students do not need to get in touch with the FSU Office of Admissions.
Students will be able to take their scholarship award together with the rest of their financial aid award after completing the necessary requirements to guarantee their spot in our first-year class.
