Beginning in the fall of 2023, Northern Arizona University will provide free college tuition to students from roughly half of all Arizona households.

The estimated housing and meal costs consider weekly meal averages of 10 and traditional, shared on-campus living. Please be aware that there will be an early arrival fee of $25 per night for the required orientation if you choose to live on campus.

NAU Tuition Financial Aid

Every Arizona resident who is accepted to the institution and has a family income of $65,000 or less will receive tuition assistance as part of a new financial aid program that was just unveiled by the university.

Each year, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to calculate their family’s income.

There are four different financial aid: grants, scholarships, student loans, and work-study.
