We’ve provided some information on the annual costs below to assist families in making financial preparations for a Harvard-Westlake education.
For families, Harvard-Westlake provides the following payment options:
- Annual: One payment is required, and it’s due on July 1, 2023.
- Pay semi-annually in two equal payments due on July 1 and January 1 of the following year.
- Quarterly: four equal payments are due on July 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1, 2023, respectively.
- Pay in ten equal monthly installments starting on July 1, 2023, and ending on April 1, 2023.

To entice and enroll the top students in Los Angeles, Harvard-Westlake offers a sophisticated financial aid program. Financial aid is provided to about 20% of our students.
Each award covers books and other course-related materials, uniforms and equipment needed for the sporting teams, field trips for educational purposes, and a cafeteria and bookstore account.
Students receiving financial help are also able to apply for money to support other initiatives such as leadership roles and other activities.
All assistance is need-based and based on the financial profile of each family. Grants are based on a family’s assets and income in relation to the total cost of attending Harvard-Westlake.
Absolutely. The financial aid program at Harvard-Westlake expands our student body and elevates our institution’s quality. We are devoted to accepting students from all socioeconomic levels.
The school’s financial aid budget is $13.8 million for the 2023–2023 academic year, or 15% of operational costs.
A little over 20% of students receive financial help, and each is responsible for paying an average of $11,600 in tuition. Financial needs must be proven in order to receive any grants.
Please be aware that while Harvard-Westlake keeps a limited fund available to help families who have unforeseen financial hardships, students who do not request aid at the time of their application will have a significantly lower chance of doing so in the following year.
