Cost of Attendance
An estimate of a student’s normal living expenditures and typical educational costs (tuition, fees, and books) are included in the COA (housing, food, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses).
Because every student has different financial needs, the expected COA could be lower.
Based on several factors, including data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and other sources, Fordham University changes the COA every year. Its purpose is to pay for reasonable but adequate living expenses in the New York area.

Fordham Tuition Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to part-time and full-time students alike. To be eligible for financial aid, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on studentaid.gov.
Part-time students enroll in 6 to 11 credits, whereas full-time students take 12 or more credits each semester.
The Office of Student Financial Services in each school can assist students in locating programs granting grants, scholarships, and loans so they can partially fund their education.

Fordham Tuition Grant
The federal government ranges in price from $692 to $6895 funds Pell grants.
Eligibility is established by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR), which will state if you qualify for this grant. You will be given instructions on how to evaluate and update all data as necessary.
Fordham Tuition Loan
A subsidized loan is one where the federal government covers the interest while they enrolled the borrower in school. The borrower repays the interest accrued during the grace and in-school periods on unsubsidized loans.
For unsubsidized loans, you do not have to show financial necessity; but, for subsidized loans, you must.
Payments for Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans are postponed until after the student’s grace and in-school breaks.
A fixed interest rate of 4.99% applies to Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans disbursed first on or after July 1, 2023, but prior to July 1, 2023.
There will be a net origination fee of 1.057% for Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans that are initially disbursed on or after July 1, 2023, but prior to July 1, 2023.
Fordham Tuition Scholarship
Some of Fordham’s merit-based scholarships are managed by the scholarship committees in the Office of Undergraduate Admission. If a student is eligible, the Office of Financial Services may provide extra merit- and/or need-based awards.
All candidates for undergraduate admission will be considered for the ensuing scholarships.
They incorporate the application for these awards within the student’s admissions application. According to its test-optional policy, candidates are not obliged to submit SAT or ACT scores in order to be considered for scholarships.
The Cunniffe Presidential Scholarship has a four-year renewable term for its tuition, board, and fee award. Recipients may also use up to $20,000 over a four-year period for academic enrichment programs.
The top 20–25 admitted students receive this award every year. In their high school graduating class, most Cunniffe Presidential Scholars rank in the top 2%.

Does Fordham Give a Full Ride?
This scholarship supplements gift aid from all sources to pay the entire year’s tuition at Fordham for courses studied as a conventional undergraduate student (fees not included).
