Tuition and Fees
Each semester, the Office of the Bursar bills tuition and fees depending on the student’s registered credits and individual courses.
The total cost will include a comprehensive fee, any lab fees associated with the course, and room and board costs for students residing in University accommodation.
Part-time undergraduate students (those taking fewer than 12 credits) and all graduate students are billed on a per-credit basis, whereas full-time undergraduate students (those taking 12 to 18 credits) are billed on a flat rate.
The annual tuition and fees for full-time undergraduate students will be around $43,200 in 2023–2023 but they will be approximately $59,100 for students living on campus, depending on the room assignment and meal plan chosen.

Monmouth University Tuition Loan
The Federal Direct Loan program is the main source of low-interest loans managed by the U.S. Department of Education.
Subsidized loans are given according to the student’s financial need, which is calculated using the financial information they gave on their FAFSA together with any other financial help they have received.
Unsubsidized loans are offered to students who may not have a “need” but would nonetheless profit from having access to a low-interest student loan program.

Monmouth University Tuition Work Study
This federally supported program offers qualified students on- and off-campus employment opportunities in a range of contexts.
More than 500 students are currently employed by the university. During the school year, students may work between five and 20 hours per week for a competitive wage.
Every two weeks, students receive direct payment for work done; tuition, lodging, board, etc. are not deducted from this amount. Students receive a $2,000 federal work-study award on average.
Based on documented financial need and the total amount of financial aid the student has received from all other sources, eligibility and award amounts are determined. FAFSA applicants will be taken into account automatically for this program.
Tuition fees must be paid to cover the costs of your education, thus attending Monmouth also necessitates a monetary investment.
