The application process to UCF is now simpler than ever.

We’ve streamlined the process to make it simple and quick, regardless of whether this is your first time attending college, you’re transferring from another institution, or you’re enrolling from another country.

There are actually only two steps.

1. Complete and submit the online application.

2. Submit required documents.

Following the completion of your application, you will get an email with detailed instructions for providing the documentation based on the type of student you are.

Graduate Applications

1. Review and complete any pre-application requirements.

Before submitting the online application, several graduate programs need a pre-application. Others call for portfolios, portfolio reviews, or additional documentation outside the scope of the online application.

2. Complete and submit the online application.

Fill out the online graduate application when you’re ready. To submit your application, you must pay a $30 non-refundable application fee.

3. Submit Required Documents.

The documents listed below are required for admission into all graduate programs:

1. One official transcript (in a sealed envelope) from each college/university attended.

2. Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores or General Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores (for doctoral programs and certain master’s programs).

3. Immunization Form.

Admission Requirements

1. High school seniors.

2. High school students or graduates who earned dual enrollment credit or an AA degree but have not completed more than 11 semester hours of college coursework after high school graduation.

3. High school graduates who have never enrolled in college.

Application Requirements

1. Completed Self-Provided Academic Record for Knights “SPARK” Form; Students who have already completed high school must submit a current official high school or home-school transcript.

2. Official SAT [code: 5233] or ACT [code: 0735] score.

3. Official GED or TOEFL/IELTS score, if applicable.

4. Application essay (strongly encouraged but not required).

5. $30 Nonrefundable Application Fee.

6. Completed Online Application.

Transferring to UCF

The college where you will study your major may provide pre-enrollment advising to help you with your transition.

The university also gives students easy access to a database of courses from other universities that have been determined to be equivalent.

While the site can offer advice as you prepare for your transition to UCF, the actual awarding of transfer credit only happens after they receive certified transcripts from the sending university.
