Here are the top 5 school districts in Colorado based on budget per student:

5. Aspen School District

One of the highest per-student expenditure ratios in the state may be found in the Aspen School District, which has just over 1,700 kids and a budget of $27 million. Aspen is the best choice for students who like small class sizes and a lot of one-on-one learning.

Students in high school also have a variety of options, including the International Baccalaureate, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) classes, and the district’s experimental education program.

4. Boulder Valley School District

There are more than 30,000 students in the Boulder Valley School District, compared to the Aspen School District.  In this district, there are 57 schools, and 77% of students are proficient in math and science. About $12,000 is allotted to each Boulder student annually in terms of financial support.

3. Cheyenne Mountain School District

Southwest Colorado Springs’ Cheyenne Mountain School District is located near Fort Carson at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain. It has one of the greatest school systems in Colorado with 5,127 kids in 11 schools and a $38 million yearly operating budget. 84% of students in this district are proficient in math and reading, and almost 90% of graduates attend college.

2. Littleton Public Schools

More than 16,000 students attend Littleton Public Schools, a suburban Denver neighbourhood that includes Littleton. This district has 23 schools, and 77% of students in these schools are competent in math and reading. The district spends over $147 million each year, or nearly $10,000 per student.

1. Peetz Plateau School District

When it comes to the best school districts in Colorado, the Peetz Plateau School District may be your best bet. Less than 200 pupils attend the Peetz School District, which is located in the eastern plains town of Peetz.

With just two schools, 80% of the pupils in the district’s two schools are able to do well in both arithmetic and reading. A total of $3,7 million is allocated to the district, which spends more than $20,000 on each student.
