GPA Requirements for UCO Admissions

The University of Central Oklahoma expects you to be above average in your high school class with a GPA of 3.41.

You’ll need a combination of A’s and B’s, with very few C’s. If your GPA is lower, you can compensate by taking more difficult courses, such as AP or IB programs. This will increase your weighted GPA and show your capacity to take college courses.

SAT Requirements for UCO Admissions

The average SAT composite score at the University of Central Oklahoma is 1080 on a 1600 SAT scale.

This score places the University of Central Oklahoma in the running for SAT exam scores.

The New SAT 25th percentile score is 1010, and the New SAT 75th percentile score is 1180. A 1010 on the New SAT puts you below average, and a 1180 puts you above average.

Application Process for UCO Admissions

1. Visit uconnect.uco.edu to sign in to UCONNECT. They suggested the Chrome browser for the best performance.

2. Select “Academics” after logging into UCONNECT.

3. Locate “Registration Tools” under Academics and select “Self-Guided Enrollment & Registration.”

4. Select “Register for Classes” once you’ve arrived at the Registration website.

5. The option to “Select a Term” will appear on the next screen. To register for classes, click on the arrow next to “Terms Open for Registration.” To go to the following screen, click “Continue.”

6. Fill out the “Subject” and “Course Number” fields, if appropriate, to find the required course. Enter a topic in “Subject” and click “Search” to find multiple course possibilities.

i. “Subject” refers to the overall course or program. Examples include English, Accounting, and Music.

ii. “Course Number” is the course level required. English 1113, Accounting 2113, and Music 1113 are some examples.

iii.”CRNs” are the five-digit numbers that appear before the name of a course. These numbers are one-of-a-kind and correspond to a certain class, instructor, date, and time. For instance, 21234 English 1113, 23456 Accounting 2113, and 21345 Music.

7. To easily register for pre-selected courses, click the “Enter CRNs” option. To add other courses use the “+ Add Another CRN” option.

8. Examine the course alternatives listed in the search results. To change the course information, click the “Settings” (gear) button in the upper right corner. Use the Expand/Collapse buttons on the bottom of the screen to see more information.

9. To add the course to the summary section, click “Add.”

10. Select “Submit” in the Summary area for courses with a “Pending” status. They changed the status to “Registered” during this process.

Application Deadline

For Fall Entry: May 15 for priority admission while July 15 for regular admission.

August 1 for available admission

Application Fees

100 USD for Undergraduates and 60 USD for graduates

How Long Does UCO Admissions Take?

After receiving your completed online application form and all other relevant documentation, they will make a standard admissions decision within four to six business days.

You will receive your complete admission packet, which will include your acceptance letter, I-20, and scholarship documentation (if eligible).

Does UCO Have Rolling Admissions?

Undergraduate applicants: There are no application deadlines for undergraduate applicants at UCO.
