Acceptance Rate for SLU Admissions

Saint Louis admissions are competitive, with a 56% acceptance rate. Students admitted to Saint Louis have an average SAT score of 1160-1370 or an ACT score of 25-31.

GPA Requirements for SLU Admissions

Saint Louis University expects you to be at the top of your class with a GPA of 3.9. To compete with other applicants, you’ll need practically straight A’s in all of your classes.

You should take difficult subjects – AP or IB courses – to show that college-level academics are simple.

If you are a junior or senior, it is difficult to change your GPA in time for college applications.

If your GPA is at or below the school average of 3.9, you’ll need to improve your SAT or ACT score. This will allow you to compete effectively against applicants with greater GPAs than you.

ACT Requirements for SLU Admissions

Saint Louis University’s average ACT score is 28. Saint Louis University is Moderately Competitive for ACT scores with this score.

The ACT score for the 25th percentile is 25, and the ACT score for the 75th percentile is 31.

Even if Saint Louis University shows there is no minimum ACT requirement, if you apply with a 25 or lower, you will have a more difficult time getting in, unless you have something else noteworthy in your application.

Saint Louis’ usual admissions application deadline is rolling.
