Early decision (ED) can be an excellent choice for you if you’ve done a thorough study on Northwestern and would be happy to enroll there in the fall.

Candidates who select ED to give Northwestern a powerful, encouraging message. You consent to withdraw all college applications elsewhere and enroll at Northwestern if accepted, as with all conventional ED plans.

What GPA does Northwestern Require?

With a GPA of 4.1, Northwestern requires you to be at the top of your class. You’ll need nearly straight A’s in all your classes to compete with other applicants.

Furthermore, you should be taking hard classes AP or IB courses to show that college-level academics is a breeze.

What Day does Northwestern Decisions come out?

Early Decision I applicants will be notified in late December. Early action applicants will be notified in late January-early February.

How Hard is it to Get into Northwestern?

For every 100 applicants, only 9 are admitted. This means the school is extremely selective.

Meeting their GPA requirements and SAT/ACT requirements is very important to getting past their first round of filters and proving your academic preparation.
