The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) seeks to offer internship opportunities for exposure to the areas specified below.
W&RSETA Programme 2024
The W&RSETA offers education and training development opportunities to both employed and unemployed learners to improve their skills and increase opportunities of employment. The main programmes offered are Learning Programmes (Learnerships and Skills Programmes) are offered through the SETA’s registered companies.
Opportunities are available through learning programmes (Learnerships and Skills Programmes) from NQF level 1 (Adult Education and Training) up to management level (Retail Store Manager qualification, Retail Management Development Programme and the International Leadership Development Programme).
The SETA also provides bursaries for study towards Wholesale and Retail qualifications from NQF level 5 up to Masters and PhD levels.

NOTE: The W&RSETA programme 2024 internships will run for 12 months, and there is no expectation that this period will be extended beyond the prescribed time. The successful applicants will be expected to sign a 12-month fixed-term Internship contract.
