Job description
As a TAX Compliance Assistant, you will join Mazars’ dynamic and fast-growing team. Your main responsibility is to assist the team members of partners with administrative aspects. Including the final presentation of their reports.
This position is open for placements in the upcoming 2024. This opportunity is for anyone who has high potential skills and a good attitude.
Responsibilities
In case you are chosen for this opportunity, your responsibilities are:
- Provide the team with administrative support
- Perform general tax administration and become the liaison between the client and the team.
- Update and maintain client database periodically
- Manage administrative and filing system, storing and retrieving information for the client
- Maintain tax databases and all transactions on tax management for the client. Including e-filing with accounting software.
- Perform administration jobs about tax registrations and updates
- Perform the completion of medical supporting documentation and income tax returns
- Liaise with the client with the SARS contact centre.
Requirements of Mazars YES Learnership

- Graduated from university or equivalent matric
- Tax and accounting knowledge are a plus
