Application Process
Apply through the Common App or ApplyTexas. Submit one application only. However, choose whether you wish to be evaluated with or without your test result at this point.

Pay Application Fees
Pay the $75 application fee (It’s $90 for international students). Therefore, you may qualify for an application fee waiver, which you can submit in your my.uh.edu self-service portal.
Can I get into the University of Houston with a 3.0 GPA?
Are you eligible to attend the University of Houston (UH) with your high school GPA? However, the University of Houston (UH) admits students with an average high school GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.
What GPA do you need to get into UT?
3.0 GPA. Additionally necessary are upper-division work—junior- and senior-level courses—and any previously completed graduate work with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or an equivalent GPA.
