University of Chicago Admissions

Students from diverse backgrounds are welcome at UChicago, and every applicant undergoes the same thorough evaluation procedure.

No single piece of information including your SAT/ACT scores, essays, letters of reference, academic and extracurricular records, and records of your extracurricular activities—can establish whether or not you would be a suitable match for the College.

Instead, we want you to demonstrate who you are in your own words through your application.
