The steps to apply to Purdue are relatively simple.
1. Complete and submit an online application.
2. Pay attention to and meet application deadlines.
3. Make sure we receive all material required for your application to be complete.
Deadlines and Important Dates
By paying attention to and keeping track of deadlines and crucial dates for applying to and enrolling at Purdue, you may increase your chances of acceptance and receiving scholarships and make sure that your transition to Purdue is as easy as possible.

November 1: Early Action Application Deadline
Students who meet the Early Action deadline will have an admission decision on January 15.
1. Application deadline to be considered for Purdue’s full range of scholarships and the John Martinson Honors College.
2. Firm application deadline for veterinary nursing.
Priority application deadlines for professional flight technology, nursing, and computer science (Priority means that we will accept applications for these programs after this date, but only if space permits; if you plan to apply for one of these programs after November 1, first check the closed programs page.)
Tuition and Fees
A student’s choice of residence, transport costs, food prices, enrollment in a particular program or college/school, etc., all affect the cost of attending Purdue University.
The prices for the academic year 2023–2023 are listed below (two semesters of full-time enrollment). Part-time students can find costs by credit hour on the Bursar website.

1. Tuition will remain frozen at current rates through the 2023-2023 academic year.
2. Estimated transportation costs are higher for students who fly from their homes to campus.
3. However, international students are those who hold F, J, and some other visa types
4. Similarly, some programs have additional fees: Computer Science – $2,050, Data Science – $2,050, Engineering – $2,050, Agricultural and Biological Engineering – $2,050,
5. Management – $1,436, Purdue Polytechnic – $572, Flight – Individual courses in this program have additional fees; please refer to the Bursar website or contact the department for specific flight course fees, Honors College – $200.
What GPA Do You Need To Attend Purdue?
With a GPA of 3.69, Purdue requires you to be above average in your high school class.
Similarly, you’ll need at least a mix of A’s and B’s, with more A’s than B’s. You can compensate for a lower GPA with harder classes, like AP or IB classes.

Is Purdue Hard To Get Into?
The acceptance rate at Purdue is 59.8%.
In other words, for every 100 applicants, 60 are admitted. This means the school is moderately selective.
The school expects you to meet their requirements for GPA and SAT/ACT scores, but they’re more flexible than other schools.
What Time Does Purdue Release Admissions?
January 15, the early application decision release and regular decision deadline.
Therefore, students who applied by the early action application deadline (Nov. 1) will receive their admissions decisions on this day at 5:00 p.m.
What Is A Good SAT Score for Purdue?
Because this school is fairly selective, a strong academic record will ensure your acceptance as per Purdue admission requirements.
An SAT score of 1440 or an ACT score of 32 or higher almost guarantees admission.
