Federal, state, and institutional policies impact how much financial aid a student will get. Grants are forms of financial aid for students that do not need repayment, as opposed to loans.

Programs have different interest rates and repayment schedules. Student employment is financial assistance based on an hourly wage.

Deadline for FAFSA Application

Before March 1st, every student requesting financial help must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Students selected by the Department of Education for verification shall provide supplementary documentation to the financial assistance office no later than 120 days after the final day of attendance. Also, the school must have had a legitimate FAFSA result.

If the student does not finish the verification process or does not have a valid ISIR, federal funds will not be provided. As a result, the file will remain incomplete.

If your FAFSA is selected for verification after you receive an award, you have 45 days to complete the procedure. If the procedure is not done within the 45-day period, your aid must be canceled, which can result in a balance owed to the university.

Family Need = $15,000 Estimated Family Contribution: $5,000
