Clemson Tuition Need-Aid-Based Scholarship Eligibility

Students must complete the FAFSA at fafsa.gov by January 2 to be eligible for federal and state need-based aid. Students should begin the financial aid application process prior to the school year in which they want help.

Clemson Tuition Scholarships

The Office of Admissions evaluates for scholarship eligibility each candidate. There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application. They awarded scholarships based on high school achievement, test results (optional for the 2023-2023 application cycle), and financial need.

Students who do not submit test scores for the application cycle 2023-2023 will still be eligible for merit awards. To be eligible for a scholarship, prospective first-year students must apply for admission and provide supporting paperwork by January 2.
