Admission Requirements
The requirements for admission into the institution are based on core course requirements and at least one performance requirement for undergraduates.
PS: To be considered for admission, you do not need to submit your ACT or SAT results.
For full scholarship consideration, all first-year students under 23 should submit an official ACT/SAT score. However, it is not mandatory.
Based on your GPA alone or in combination with your highest composite ACT/SAT score, you will get a fair scholarship offer.
Core Course Requirements
To be admitted, applicants must complete 16 units of academic coursework. A unit is equivalent to one year of high school education or one semester/quarter of college study.

| Pure Sciences | Three units from this science course and two of the units must be from the earth sciences, physics, chemistry, or biology.

| Social Sciences | Three units also with one unit from global or American history.
One unit from geography, American government, or history. One unit from any field of social science. |
| World Language | This section has 2 units and the language used for both units must be the same.
Even if they are unable to complete two years of global language coursework in high school, they may still be admitted. Note: To graduate from certain University of Nebraska–Lincoln degree programs, one must have completed the equivalent of four years of global language coursework in the same language in high school. |
Performance Requirements
1. Applicant should make a total grade point average of 3.0. at high school.
2. Considerations on an ACT score of 20 or better can be accepted to replace GP.
3. Achieving a combined SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 1040 or above will also be accepted.
4. Placed at the top half of the class of graduates from high school is also a requirement.
Application Process
The application process remains an online procedure where applicants will have to apply using the application link or through their student portal.
You can apply through the Common Application or Nebraska’s application and to continue to apply you will have to:
1. Visit the school’s official website and click on “Apply” at the center top of the page.
2. Select the degree program you want.
3. Select the type of entry procedure and follow up.
Students enrolled in the Intensive English Program (IEP), transfers, readmissions, and visiting should only apply using Nebraska’s application.
Application Deadlines
Deadlines for every admission session are also announced online alongside the open. Therefore, applicants should always watch out for this information.
Applications that are received after the stated deadline might be added to a waitlist.
The waitlist candidates who fulfill admission requirements will be given priority by the Admissions Committee. However, applicants on the waitlist are not assured admission.
Student Portal
The university has also created a portal that allows students to manage their academic activities from their smartphones and computers provided they have a good and steady network.
To create an account, you will have to visit the school’s official page, click on register, and follow up the process.
Students who have accounts already will log in using their username and password and the reset option is for students with forgotten details.
With the portal, you can check results, submit assignments, communicate which lectures and colleges, and get lecture notes.
