Successful applicants can apply for a bursary from the Northern Cape Department of Health. Also, you will be obliged to sign a contract with the Department to work back the equal number of years spent on training.

Once you have applied, you can check your application status using the log-in details supplied during the initial application process.

1. Go to the status checker portal
2. Select and Enter the CAO Number, ID/Passport number
3. Then Sign In by clicking the SUBMIT button.
4. Click the “Login” button to access your admission status.

If you have finally been admitted conditionally or unconditionally. Please visit the University admission portal to accept or decline the place allocated to you.

HSNC Requirements

1. Matric/National Senior Certificate endorsed by Umalusi qualifying for a diploma/bachelors admission Life Sciences level 4/Biology HG-D/SG-C
2. English level 4/HC-D/SG-C
3. Mathematics/Maths Literacy and Physical Science level 3 and above will be an added advantage.
4. APS/Matriculation score of 24 and above for the six highest subjects (excluding Life Orientation)
5. Only Northern Cape applicants will be considered Applicants currently registered elsewhere will not be accepted
6. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview and write a Psychometric test
