- 5 August 2024 for early applications (excluding MBChB);
- 30 September 2024 for late applications (excluding MBChB);

Below are the required things you need to apply at NMU
For South African Applicants
- Certified copy of your Identification Documents (ID)
- Certified copy of your Grade 12 exam results or
- Certified copy of your Grade 11 (if you’re currently doing Grade 12)
- Email address and Phone Number.
For International Applicants
- Certified copy of your Identification Document (ID) of your home country.
- Certified copy of your home country’s Passport Number.
- Study Visa in South Africa.
- English Proficiency.
- Medical Aid.
- Proof of IELTS at an overall score of 6 and TOEFL at an average score of 80–104 for Undergraduate programs.
- Copy of Nelson Mandela University English Language Programme Test (if necessary).

- Once you click on the link above, they will direct you to fill in your biographical information.
- Follow every step given on the page and upload the documents.
- Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form.
- Thereafter, your reference number (student number) will be sent to the email address you provided.
- Make sure you provide the correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission is not allowed.
- Track and print your online application form.
