Mary Jane Blige, also known as Mary J. Blige, is an American actress, singer, and composer. Hip-hop soul and R&B are her preferred musical genres. She is renowned for being the “Queen of Hip Hop Soul.”

Mary J. Blige was born on January 11, 1971, making her 51 years old as of 2024. She was raised in a stable Christian household in Yonkers, New York, in the United States, where she was born and raised.

Mary J. Blige’s Family Life

Blige wed Martin “Kendu” Isaacs, her former manager, in 2003, but she requested a divorce two years later. After a protracted legal struggle, the divorce was finally finalized in 2018.

There are no biological children of Blige. Before beginning his relationship with Blige, Isaacs was the father of three kids.

Education
