School of Nursing Madobi Admission Requirements 2023/2024
The 2023/2024 Admission Requirements for the School of Nursing Madobi are now available online. If you aspire to study nursing in Nigeria, apply to the school and familiarize yourself with all the requirements. This will aid in your preparation for admission.
The primary requirement for all candidates is the availability of documents, such as the Senior Secondary School Certificate with five credits, including Chemistry, Health Science, English, Biology, and Physics. The accepted certificates for nursing schools are NAPTEB, WAEC, and NECO.
However, it’s important to note that NAPTEB is not accepted in some schools.
School of Nursing Madobi Admission Requirements

General Nursing Programme
Candidates for admission into the General Nursing Education program of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent with five credits, including English and either physics, chemistry, or biology, at not more than two sittings.
- Duration of study: Three (3) Calendar years.
- Registration obtained: Registered Nurse (RN)
Post Basic Midwifery Programme
Candidates must be a registered Nurse and must also meet all institutional requirements to be admitted to any of the schools of midwifery.
- Duration of study: One (1) Calendar year.
- Registration obtained: Registered Midwife (RM).
Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme
Candidates must be a registered nurse and must also meet all institutional requirements to be admitted to any of the eight (8) schools of psychiatric nursing.
- Duration of study: One (1) Calendar year.
- Registration obtained: Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree Programme
Candidates must possess Five Credits Level passes in WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings. Subjects must include English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. Candidates must also meet all institutional requirements.
- Duration of study: Five (5) Calendar years with one year internship in a recognized health care institution.
- Registration obtained: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN), and Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).
- Academic qualification: Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree (B.N.sc).
