How To Perform a Power Cycle

We’ve all had our phones freeze. None of the buttons work, and the screen is unresponsive. Did you realize, though, that a phone can also freeze in its powered-off state? A power cycle is one option for an Android phone that won’t switch on. It’s as simple as pulling out the battery, waiting a few seconds, and replacing it with older devices with a removable battery. Press and hold the device‘s power button for several seconds on more recent handsets that don’t have a detachable battery. You may need to hold it down for anywhere between 10 and 30 seconds, depending on your manufacturer.
