Canadian University Announces Special Scholarships For Nigerians.

A Canadian University known as the University of Ottawa have made an announcement that they have millions of scholarships that cover the partial cost of tuition for students.

University of Ottawa is a top notch University that welcomes international students. The scholarship is renewable and it is offered to international students who are from the African continent. This admission falls into the session that begins on the Fall of 2023 (starting September).

All students that are eligible for this scholarship will automatically receive it after enrollment. The tuition discount will be applied directly to their tuition fees. The Entrance scholarship cannot be combined with the Excellence Scholarship for African Students Studying in English.

Eligibility Criteria;

Students who are eligible to apply must meet up with the following criterias.

The applicant must:

 

1. be an international student with a valid study permit;

 

2. have citizenship from one of the countries in Africa;

 

3. be newly admitted in one of the following undergraduate programs offered in English or with the French Immersion option:

 

 

• Engineering: Civil Engineering; Chemical Engineering

• Social sciences: Sociology; Anthropology; International Development and Globalization; Conflict Studies; Public Administrations.

Sciences: All programs except the Honours BSc in Biochemistry / BASc in Chemical Engineering; Honours BSc in Physics / BASc in Electrical Engineering; and Honours BSc in Ophthalmic Medical Technology

4. Students must be enrolled full-time

 

5. For the Entrance scholarship: have an admission average of 89.99% or lower once converted in their grading scale 6.

 

For the Excellence scholarship: have an admission average of a minimum of 90% once converted in their grading scale.
