Admission Requirements

There are certain criteria students must meet to stand a chance for admission at GVSU. These include:

1. Applicants must have completed all high school courses and make good grades.

2. Aspirants should have a good cumulative GPA.

3. The panel will screen your standardized test scores if you provide results.

4. Good or excellent grade trends and class rank are required.

5. Additional factors shared by applicants.

Note: Having a weak area won’t necessarily deny admission, but missing several courses can be a drawback.

Admitted freshmen should have GPAs between 3.2 and 3.9, ACT scores of 20 to 27, and SAT scores of 970 to 1210.
