City of Johannesburg Internships for Unemployed Graduates in 2023

The city of Johannesburg is offering unemployed graduates internships in 2023.

South African graduates who are unemployed are encouraged to apply to the City of Joburg Municipality’s internship program for 2023.

City of Johannesburg Internships for Unemployed Graduates

Graduates who meet the necessary qualifications and are jobless are offered internship opportunities by the City of Johannesburg (CoJ). The duration of the internships will not exceed eighteen (18) months.

In addition to signing an employment contract, interns will be asked to sign an internship agreement in which they promise to fully participate in all coursework and job duties in accordance with established rules and guidelines.

There are open applications for the following internship opportunities:

• Admin Officer Interns

Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Labour Relation

• Junior Project Management Interns

Diploma or Degree in:

1. Information Technology,
2. Project Management
3. or any Commerce field with Project Management

Perform particular duties or actions related to giving management support. Execute particular tasks or operations with the provision of preparing and finalizing documents. Execute specified steps related to documenting instructions, maintaining registers, and correspondence. (Information, data, and files with an electronic basis). performs particular tasks or activities related to supporting performance management. provide the directorate with administrative support for leave management;

• National Treasury: Valuer Interns

Requirements:

1. Real Estate: Property Valuation
2. or qualification recognized by the SA Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP).
3. Valid registration with SACPVP as a Candidate Valuer/Professional Associated Valuer;

Identifying and examining both the subject and comparable properties is one of the duties associated with conducting research and field work for the valuation of all different types of properties. proper use of market value principles. Participate in the creation and upkeep of the general and supplemental valuation rolls in a way that complies with all legal specifications and council policy. Execute administrative tasks in accordance with the MPRA’s guidelines. Ad hoc jobs should be completed as Parks Contributions as needed. Create and carry out a daily operating strategy.

• National Treasury: Process Monitoring Interns

National Diploma or Degree in:

1. Law
2. Audit
3. Commerce
4. Risk
5. Compliance
6. or equivalent

Improve the organization’s data procedures in order to deliver better services. engage in stakeholder management both internally and internationally, including for enterprises held by the City’s municipal government. Participate in risk management and good governance. assembling of reports that aims to shed light on the effectiveness of the data section. Specifically administer and report on the data section’s and each individual’s performance-related requirements.

Please Note:

• Previous program participants won’t be taken into consideration.
• 40 hours per week of employment must be possible.
• Must be able to put in additional hours as needed;
• The Johannesburg community’s YOUTH are eligible for this role;
