Zodwa Wabantu whose real name is Zodwa Rebecca Libram was born on 30th October 1985 in Gauteng Soweto. She is 38 years old as of 2023 and she always celebrates her birthday on 30th October.

However, Zodwa was raised by her grandmother and her uncle after she lost her mum at the age of 11 years old. She was born into a poor family and she had to fend for herself at the age of 16.

Zodwa has a son, named Vuyo, who is about 14 years old as of 2020. She said that she’s doing everything possible to make sure her son gains financial freedom.

Zodwa got into a relationship with Vusi Buthelezi, but she has confirmed that the relationship she shared with him has ended.

She told Drum Magazine that she and Vusi were living together during the lockdown period in South Africa, both of them have gone their separate ways and Vusi is no longer in her home.

She also revealed one of the major reasons she broke up with Vusi. Also, she said that things were not working out; he left, and she has learned that you must allow people to leave.

Zodwa left her white-collar job to pursue another career in the entertainment sector. She worked for a debt collection company until she decided to become a dancer.
