Vaal University of Technology VUT Application Requirements 2024
You can find the Vaal University of Technology’s VUT admission requirements for the 2024 intake here. Below are the documents to include with your VUT application:
For South African Applicants:
- Certified copy of your Identification Documents (ID)
- Certified copy of your Grade 12 exam results or
- Certified copy of your Grade 11 (if you’re currently doing Grade 12)
- Email address and Phone Number.
For International Applicants:
- Certified copy of your Identification Document (ID) of your home country.
- Certified copy of your home country’s Passport Number.
- Study Visa in South Africa.
- English Proficiency.
- Medical Aid.
- Proof of IELTS at an overall score of 6 and TOEFL at an average score of 80–104 for Undergraduate programs.
- Copy of the Vaal University of Technology English Language Programme Test (if necessary).
Vaal University of Technology VUT Application Fees 2024
A non-refundable R100 application fee is required of all South African and international applicants in order to process their admission to the Vaal University of Technology.
Only manual applications are required to pay this charge. Online applications, however, are cost-free. Using vut.ac.za, you can start applying right away without spending a penny.

- Visit the VUT online application portal via www.vut.ac.za and click on ‘Apply Now or go to https://ienablerprod.vut.ac.za/pls/apply-now to apply.
- Once you click on the link above, they will direct you to fill in your biographical information.
- Follow every step given on the page and upload the documents.
- Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form.
- Thereafter, your reference number (student number) will be sent to the email address you provided.
- Make sure you provide the correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission is not allowed.
