SASSA Says Outstanding R350 Grant Payments Will Still Be Made
Have you been approved for the SASSA R350 grant, but have not yet received your payments? Well, keep reading to find out if you will receive your grant payments.
Many applicants have been approved for the SASSA COVID-19 grant, however, even though the grant has ended, they are still waiting on their payments.
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced that payments are underway and that those who have been approved will still get paid.
SASSA said the following on social media:
Payments are underway, all applications which have been approved and who have not yet received the money will still be paid.
If you applied before 30 April but you’re waiting for feedback, if you’re approved or have already been, you will then still receive payments backdated from the month you applied. Payments will however only be made for the month of April or earlier.

How To Track Your SASSA R350 Grant Appeal
- Go to the SRD Grant website
- Scroll down to ‘Click here to apply online or check reconsideration status’
- Click on the yellow bar
- Fill in the required fields
- You will now be able to view your application status.
In order to qualify for the R350 grant, the applicant will need to be over the age of 18, unemployed, and not receiving any grant from the government.
