Is Cape Town College open for 2024 applications?
For the academic year 2024–2024, the College of Cape Town’s application information and forms are all available here.
To apply, review the following details for all admission requirements.
College of Cape Town Admission Requirements
Ensure that you satisfy the entry requirements for the selected course of study or career of choice before submitting an application to the College of Cape Town.
1. Grade 9 Certificate with a 50% pass in Mathematics for ( Engineering NCV Courses)
2. Grade 9 Certificate or equivalent qualification for (NCV Courses)
3. Grade 10 with 50% in Mathematics OR Grade 11 with 40% in Mathematics for (Engineering Nated Courses)
4. Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent (For Nated Courses)

Application guidelines
If you are enrolling for the first time, please read below:
2. Choose the course that you want to take.
3. Fill out the application form completely and affix all required documents. Please keep in mind that all provided information must be accurate, true, and verifiable.
4. Return the application form to the address indicated on the front of the form, or fax it to the number indicated on the form or to the relevant campus where the course you are applying for is offered.
You can also deliver it to the relevant campus in person.
5. The College of Cape Town will send an SMS notification to your mobile phone number, acknowledging receipt of your application.
6. You will be informed about the College’s decision if you are successful and required to pay fees.
7. You will be invited to register on dates as set out in your letter of admission from the campus where you have applied.
Complete the final stage of registration on the assigned date.
8. Ensure that you bring all the required documentation, including your original ID book or passport and originals of qualification results to registration day.
A copy of your refugee status is also required, if applicable.

For International students
The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) must receive all credentials held by applicants who did not earn them in South Africa in order to evaluate them.
1. You must send your application form and a certificate from SAQA that details the NQF level of your credentials.
2. Please go to www.saqa.org.za to the SAQA website for further details on the procedure.
3. Complete the application procedure in accordance with steps 1-4. Please make sure to complete the application for international students.
4. If you are successful, the College of Cape Town will send a letter of acceptance to your home address in your country of residence.
5. You need to apply for a valid study permit from the South African consulate responsible for your country.
They require that you provide proof of comprehensive medical insurance valid in South Africa (Hospital Plan or Life Insurance only will not be accepted).
Once you are in possession of a study permit and any necessary visa, complete the registration form and submit it with proof of payment to the College.
6. Complete the final stage of registration on the assigned date at the campus you will be studying.
