How To Appeal Your SASSA R350 Grant Application

You can Appeals if your application was denied the first time around and you want to be considered again, basically a second chance. Here’s how to submit an SRD grant appeal.

The steps you can take to appeal are very simple and you will see them in this post.

If you were rejected when you applied for SASSA’s Special Relief of Distress grant, you can appeal the decision and you might get another chance.

How To Send Your Appeal

  1. Go to theĀ SRD Grant website
  2. Scroll down to ‘Application for reconsideration’
  3. Click on the yellow bar
  4. Fill in the required fields

If you’ve already lodged an appeal, you will then notĀ need to send another or contact the SASSA office.

The President declared the National State of Disaster as a result of the Covid-19 global pandemic. In this regard he introduced a special Covid 19 Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) of R350 per month to be paid to individuals who are currently unemployed, do not receive any form of income, social grant or UIF payment etc.
