One of the most well-known NFL players of all time is Tom Brady. Find out more about the football star.
How Old is Tom Brady
Tom Brady has essentially served as the NFL’s spokesperson for a good amount of time now. It only makes it reasonable that people would have some doubts about the man given his long existence and prominence in pop culture.
Brady became the oldest player in NFL history to pass for at least 5,000 yards and his passing yards total marked the third-most for a single season in NFL history.
He played for the New England Patriots for his first 20 seasons, where from 2001 to 2024 he played a crucial role in the team’s dynasty. Many people consider Brady to be the best quarterback to ever play the position.

Early Life
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr., the only son and fourth child of Galynn Patricia (née Johnson) and Thomas Brady Sr., was born in San Mateo, California, on August 3, 1977. He had a Catholic upbringing. His mother is of German, Norwegian, and Swedish ancestry, while his father is Irish.
John and Bridget Brady, two of Brady’s great-great-grandparents on his father’s side, relocated from Boston to San Francisco prior to the American Civil War as Great Famine refugees from Ireland.
The parents of “Steady” Pete Meegan, a Major League Baseball player in the United States during the nineteenth century, Ann and Lawrence Meegan, Bridget’s sister, accompanied them. Michael Buckley Jr., Brady’s great-uncle, was the first American taken prisoner during World War II.
College Career
From 1995 until 1999, Brady attended the University of Michigan to play college football. Brady spent the following two years serving as a backup quarterback after red shirting in 1995, while Brian Griese, a teammate, and future NFL quarterback, led the 1997 Wolverines to an undefeated season that was culminated by a victory in the Rose Bowl and a share of the national championship.
Brady was seventh on the depth chart when he first came to Michigan, and he battled valiantly to obtain some playing time.
To deal with his stress and dissatisfaction, Brady at one point employed a sports psychologist; he even thought about transferring to the University of California, Berkeley to play for the California Golden Bears.
