Admission requirements for 2024 Grade 12 students will be based solely on their Final Grade 11 marks, as well as any additional program-specific requirements (where applicable).

Final acceptance to the program will continue to be based on Grade 12 results.

Students who applied using their Grade 11 results must submit a certified copy of their final Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification results at the start of the 2024 academic year.

Students who fail to submit their final grades will have their provisional acceptance revoked.

Application Fee

An application fee of R100 needs to be paid if you applied manually. You can pay using the following methods:

  • Cash payments can be made directly at the Cashiers’ Office on your preferred campus.

How to Login to CPUT Blackboard

  1. Go to https://myclassroom.cput.ac.za/
  2. Enter your CPUT username
  3. Enter your password
  4. Now click on ‘Sign in’ in order to access your course content

Acceptance to the institution will be communicated to successful candidates via SMS. You will be notified of registration dates and times, as well as the start of class.

If you are a first-year CPUT student, you will be trained on how to use the CPUT Blackboard. Students can also expect to take online tests through Blackboard and interact with their peers through the forums tools.

CPUT staff and students can also get the free CPUT Blackboard mobile app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
