The grant came to an end on 30 April 2024 after being introduced in April 2024 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many applicants may be wondering whether they can still appeal applications that have not been approved.

The answer is yes they can.

SASSA has stated that  those who were not approved for the grant between February and April in 2024 still have the opportunity to lodge an appeal on their website.

  3. Click on the yellow bar
