How to Apply For a Presidential Scholarship

The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program for now does not have open applications. Applications ways are by only nomination , so you must be invited to apply and cannot apply independently. Also, an limited invitation to apply is only given to the  best of the best in the nation, so even being selected to apply is a great achievement.

1. For you to be selected , you must must meet the following criteria:

2. they must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States,

3. Must be a current high school seniors at the time of the application process, and taken part in one of the eligible components.

4. Must have Scored within the top percentiles for the SAT or ACT, nationally.

5. CTE (Career and Technical Education) Component – Be selected by your Chief State School Officer (CSSO).

6. Must be selected by the review committee or a partner organization, such as the Young Arts Program.

7. Upon being selected by qualified individuals, invitations will be mailed   to the selected students with a sole nomination ID number that grants access to an online portal to submit candidacy materials. These materials can include essays, self-assessments, secondary school reports, and official transcripts.

How Much are Presidential Scholarships?

The Presidential Scholarship via the Presidential Scholars Program does not have any monetary value attached to it,   however, it offers scholars with priceless experiences and chances that other students don’t have access to.

The hectic application process ends with an high-class, expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C. in June ti the white house where each carefully chosen scholar is given with a Presidential Scholars medallion to honor their academic accomplishment.

Selected individual will also visit ancient memorials and attend recitals, events, and ceremonies during their once-in-a-lifetime stay.

In the course of the visit, selected individual  have the opportunity to meet national figures such as well-known authors, scientists, educators, musicians, and government officials. Selected student  can discuss social and worldwide matters with like-minded people.
