Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the Master’s Degree program in science and technology offered by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.
Admissible Criteria: In conformity with the entry requirement at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, successful candidates must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with first-class or second-class (upper division) honours in Business Administration, Economics, and Social Sciences.
For applicants whose bachelor’s degree was not provided in English, an internationally recognized certificate of proficiency in the English language with an above-average score shall be required.
Demonstrate an economic need for which they should be supported financially to enrol in the master’s degree program at KNUST.
Hold citizenship of Ghana or another African country.
Non-Ghanaian African applicants must demonstrate possession of a student visa to study at KNUST legally.
Commit to full-time availability for the entire period of study.

How to Apply: To be considered for the program, students must accept the offer letter of admission in or master’s degree at the university. After taking admitted, they can apply for the scholarship.
Supporting Documents: The following documentation is required from the students:
Completed scholarship application form
Completed economic needs assessment form
Curriculum vitae (two pages maximum)
Two reference letters
Proof of English proficiency (only for applicants whose Bachelor’s degree was not offered in English)
Official transcripts for bachelor degree
Certified copies of the official Bachelor’s degree certificate
Soft and hard copies of a letter of motivation (max. one page) with the heading “O.R. Tambo Scholarship Award” outlining the following:
Why do they want to research entrepreneurship and employment problems
Why do they think they are capable of researching entrepreneurship and employment problems
Why do they need financial support to be able to complete the Master’s degree program
How their admission into this program will fit into their professional vision
How their community stands to benefit after their training in this program
They may also add other relevant information and experience they feel necessary to support their application.

Language Requirement: A certificate of Proficiency in the English Language (i.e., TOEFL or IELTS) with an above-average score shall be required.
