Admission Requirement 

FETHA School of Basic Midwifery requires their potential candidates to possess the following requirements:

1. He must possess at least credit level passes in Five (5) subjects in SSCE/GCE O’level or NECO in not more than two (2) sittings.

2. The subjects passed must include English language, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, at least with a credit grade.

3. Potential applicants must be mature, self-disciplined possess all the attributes of being in good health, and be morally sound.

4. Minimum age of entry is 17 years

5.  There should be no traces of contagious disease.

6. Candidates must be good citizens with a readiness to learn, a lack of criminal tendencies, and the ability to abide by the rules and regulations of the school.

7. Such candidates must meet the cut-off pass mark in the Entrance Examination and the interview conducted by the schools concerning the course of choice.

Application to School of Nursing

Application forms are obtainable in person from the office of the Principal with a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only.

You are to pay to UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) Via the Remita Platform in any Commercial Bank under the service type “training school- school of nursing”.

Application to School of Midwifery

Application forms are obtainable from the office of the Principal/Head of Department (School of Midwifery) on presentation of evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N6,500) only.

Also payable to UBTH Account with TSA under the service type: Training School of Midwifery using the REMITA platform in any bank in Nigeria.

Duration for FETHA School of Basic Midwifery

The school runs the General Nursing program which is for three years. Application for entry into the FETHA School of Basic Midwifery starts in December and ends in January next year.
